Floral Soil Partners with the Institute of Environmental Research and Education to Develop Environmental Product Declarations

March 13, 2015 - In direct support of our commitment to human health and the environment, Floral Soil LLC has partnered with the Institute of Environmental Research and Education (IERE.org) to pursue Environmental Product Declarations, EPD® for all of our products.  An EPD® is a 3rd party verified document that reports environmental data of products based on life cycle assessment (LCA) and other relevant data in accordance with the international standard ISO 14025 (Type III Environmental Declarations). EPD's are internationally recognized and present the most transparent and reliable method to document the impact of Floral Soil ™ -  from raw materials through the next life. The EPD process is expected to take 6-12 months and the resulting information will be published on the Floral Soil ™ and  IERE Earthsure website (http://iere.org/index.php/programs/earthsure). Our products will also feature the Earthsure label.

The entire Floral Soil team is excited by the challenge.  As a company, our mission is to push the envelop beyond incremental change and feel good environmentalism. To become a sustainable company, we must first achieve responsible.
